What it is
A guided journey from competing on amenities and price to creating the kind of experience only you could offer.
You begin where so many hosts do: with beautiful details, thoughtful touches, and a guest experience that still somehow feels like it could belong to anyone.
Step by step, you’ll uncover the feeling at the heart of your work — the story, passion, and emotional thread that make your experience impossible to copy — and learn how to carry it through every moment your guest moves through.
By the end, you won’t just see your offer differently. You’ll know how to shape it into a world people feel drawn to enter, remember, and return to — one that gives your guests something meaningful to feel, and keeps you alive inside your own creation.
Passion is the what. Story is the how.
The method: S-T-O-R-Y.
A magnetic experience is not built from more amenities, prettier details, or extra touches. It is built from a clear emotional arc.
S-T-O-R-Y  is the method for turning your passion, values, and lived story into an experience your guests can actually feel — from the first moment they encounter your world to the moment they leave changed by it.
S — Starting Point
Every experience begins with your guest arriving.
Before you design the room, the meal, the stay, the tour, the retreat, or the welcome, you begin with their emotional state.
What are they carrying?
What are they craving?
What are they hoping to feel?
Who are they before they enter your world?
This is where you stop designing for a generic guest and start designing for a real person in a real moment.
T — Tension
Tension is the intentional space between where your guest has been and where you are taking them.
It is anticipation.
The pause before the reveal.
The dimly lit path.
The invitation to slow down.
The moment that says, something is about to shift.
This tension is never about making your guest feel unsafe. It is about helping them leave one state behind so they can fully enter the next.
O — Opening
The opening is the threshold moment.
It is the first true reveal of the world you have built.
Your guest crosses over and begins to feel it through their whole body: what they see, smell, taste, touch, hear, and sense.
This is where your experience stops being an idea and becomes real.
R — Rituals + Touchpoints
A powerful experience does not rely on one big moment.
It repeats the core feeling again and again through small, intentional details that help the transformation fully land.Â
A touchpoint might be a menu note that reveals the story behind an ingredient, a welcome ritual that helps guests cross the threshold, a design choice that reflects your values, a prompt that deepens connection, a guided moment that invites presence, or a closing question that helps them carry the experience home.Â
Each touchpoint becomes a quiet reminder of the same emotional truth.
Nothing is random. Everything points back to the feeling you want them to leave with.
Y — Your Ripple
The experience begins inside you.
Your story.
Your aliveness.
Your values.
The thing you care about enough to build a world around.
When that is clear at the center, it ripples outward — into your guest experience, your team, your culture, your brand, and the life underneath it all.
This is how your offer becomes more than beautiful.
It becomes unmistakably yours.
This is the work of Klarhet: helping you design the feeling people remember.
You do not need the whole dream built. You need the first doorway.
So many people keep waiting because the full vision feels too big.
The retreat center.
The boutique stay.
The dinner series.
The immersive workshop.
The wellness experience.
The place, brand, or world they can feel so clearly — but do not know how to build all at once.
You do not need all of it yet. You need one intentional doorway.
A gathering.
A workshop.
A dinner.
A weekend stay.
A small retreat.
A single experience that carries the feeling of the larger dream.
The first doorway is not a smaller version of the dream. It is the first place your world becomes real.
Inside this work, we help you uncover the core feeling underneath your vision, then design the first experience that can hold it — complete, intentional, and powerful as it is.
If you already have a short-term rental, boutique stay, retreat, workshop, wellness experience, restaurant, or unique dining concept, this helps you make the feeling unmistakable.
And if the whole thing does not exist yet, this helps you begin.
A guide that asks. You answer.
Inside the course, you’ll have access to a custom STORY Map Guide — a supplemental AI-supported tool designed to help you move through the experience design process with more clarity, ease, and structure.
It cannot design the experience for you, on purpose.
It asks thoughtful questions, one at a time, so the blank page becomes easier to enter. Your words, ideas, instincts, memories, values, and creative vision stay at the center.
The guide was built around our specific way of designing unique experiences with heart. It helps you organize your thoughts, loosen creative blocks, and see the shape of your ideas more clearly — without outsourcing the soul of the work that can only come from you.
Along the way, it may invite you to pause, step away from the screen, go outside, notice what you feel, or return to your senses, because the best parts of this process cannot be generated. They have to be lived, felt, remembered, and chosen by you.
The heart of this work is human.
The course itself is fully taught through video and written instruction, step by step. The guide is simply there as an optional support tool when you want help finding your way back into the process.
You do not need it to succeed, but if you want a gentle structure to keep you moving, it will be there to ask the next question.Â
