Are Kids Allowed?

Due to the unique characteristics within the dome that are not easily mitigated to ensure the safety of young children, we are unable to host any children under the age of 5 at this time. We appreciate your compliance and understanding of this requirement.

I can’t find availability

You can view our availability calendar via our “reserve your dome” page. X thru dates means the dates are booked. Scroll using the calendar to view open dates.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets (obviously), but due to the nature of the site, we are unable to host outside pets at this time. This rule is firm, so please don’t inquire about exceptions unless your pup is trained and certified as a service animal. Emotional support animals do not qualify.

What about food?

Each dome has a kitchenette with two-burner induction cooktop, mini fridge, microwave (or toaster oven in Raidho dome only) plus supplies to cook and enjoy a simple meal. We also provide 1/2 dozen of our special eggs for guests upon arrival. Feel free to bring your slow cooker or Instant Pot. There is a Weber propane grill, picnic table, and grill grate over the bonfire pit that guests are welcome to use throughout their stay as well.

We are centrally located to multiple restaurants ranging from American causal to formal dining on the lake. 20 miles north of us is Grand Marais, a lovely harbor town with an even wider variety of options. Most guests opt to enjoy a few simple meals in the dome (or pre-prepare if interested in a larger spread) and eat out for a few others.

Can we have a bonfire?

For sure! Assuming there is no active burn ban in place, guests are more than welcome to enjoy a fire in our communal fire pit. We provide wood and supplies to get it started. We can also have it set up so all that’s required is a match, or can have it going at a desired time if preferred upon request. Please simply ensure the fire is out completely before turning in for the night with the provided buckets and hose (located next to the wood storage on the right. We also stock gourmet s’more kits and marshmallows in our farm store—they’re truly DIVINE if you’re in the mood for a special treat.

The full pathway is roughly 600 feet from the parking lot to Berkanan Dome. Each dome is situated along the pathway with the large bay window facing Lake Superior. The order of the domes from the parking lot is: Raidho, Dagaz, Laguz, and Berkanan. Each dome is conveniently located to the parking area, while also being strategically placed to ensure the feeling of serenity. While inside each of the domes, guests will feel immersed by the natural landscape and are unable to see other domes.

How long is the path to the dome?
